Sergey Noskov, Chief power engineer of UEC-Perm Engines

In 2018 our company managed to increase production volumes with having specific power consumption rates decreased. Lately we have implemented number of actions to improve labor conditions and reduce repair and operational costs and have performed overall energy survey in the whole company and developed new power saving program as well. When in 2018 the volume of commodity output increased by 1.5% against that of 2017, in 2018 total power costs for the output decreased by 0.7% comparing to the results of 2017. Such decline has been achieved by reducing costs for electrical power by about 6.8 mln. rubles per year. Complex approach towards power saving and increase of power efficiency in 2018 allowed reserving the share of the power costs for product manufacture of 2.1% at the level of 2017. This index corresponds to that of the leading national companies in engineering industry.

Till the end of 2019 JSC UEC-Perm Engines shall adapt automated measuring and information system for electric power fiscal metering which shall give extra possibility to evaluate and reduce significantly costs for power resources. Along with technical actions regarding power saving we develop and implement measures of organizational nature focused on power resources costs reduction.

In terms of annual raise of power resources rates, reduction of total costs for power resources indicates realization of the complex approach towards formation and adaptation of the program for power efficiency rise and that was remarked by the Association of the Western Ural power engineers.
