Safety of working conditions at UEC-Perm Engine is a priority

The results of the industry demonstration-contest for the title of “The Best Enterprise in the Field of Work Safety” organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, the Department of Aviation Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Russian Engineering Union and the Russian Professional Union of Aviation Industry Workers.

JSC UEC-Perm Engines was honored for its high achievements in creating safe working conditions at the enterprise in 2017.

At UEC-PE the rate of injuries is declining annually, the enterprise fulfills all its obligations to improve working conditions, to provide personal protective equipment, to support with health resort care and to train health and safety inspectors. At all working places without exception, a special assessment of labor takes place on a regular basis. Comprehensive development and implementation of programs to reduce the influence of the industrial health and safety hazards have a positive effect on the staff working environment.

The introduction of the dispenser systems in a number of workshops is one of the innovations for which the enterprise was praised. Now protective creams and regenerating products for the skin are always freely available for those who need protection for their hands from health hazards.

At UEC-PE, the automated system is being introduced that allows to monitor the timeliness of briefings and assessment of knowledge in work safety, as well as to plan more precisely the provision of the workers with personal protective equipment and workwear.

- We managed to create a decent working environment that complies with all modern industrial safety standards, to minimize the risk of occupational injuries and occupational diseases. We regularly conduct personnel training and certification on work safety. In 2019, we have plans to continue systematic work to ensure a responsible attitude to work at all stages of production, because life and health of the employees is our priority.
