Engines Production was shown to Perm Pupils

This year over 700 senior pupils of Perm schools passed through the turnstiles of the classified facility and visited the most interesting of its places. In training-research area the pupils were shown aircraft engines parts manufactured by students apprentices and told about milling and grinding machines which are applied by future engine builders during their trainings.  In machine-assembly shop the pupils talked to engineers and processing engineers. However the brightest impressions they got in the museum of Perm engine building history the exposition of which represents real engines manufactured by Perm Engine Company. Moreover all those who were interested saw the movies about famous Perm aircraft engines designers Arkadiy Shvetsov and Pavel Soloviyov.

Irina Ivonina, a teacher of limited health capacities pupils of school ¹9 said, it was interesting for them to see not only historical engines but modern hi-tech engine parts as well. Almost all excursion participants took a picture in a historical background of a restored room of the first company director Joseph Preobrazhenskiiy.
